It seems that one of his favorite pastimes is to email everyone that has the misfortune to come across his computer. Then again, Guy has his own unique definition of what constitutes spam:

Edit CommentKawasaki can call it what he wants but unsolicited mass emailing for commercial purposes is indeed SPAM. But I can tell you from personal experience that you will never get through to these "hucksters" as you so aptly put it. They are a blight on the blogosphere.

Kawasaki please note: It makes no difference if the spammer (ie you) is "known by the recipient". The only exception perhaps would be if the email was acquired by an opt-in method and the usage of the email was made clear up-front. Eg., for the purposes of a newsletter. Mining addresses from so-called "bozos" that have carbon-copied you to huckster your wares is not exempt. It is still considered SPAM and the FISK is absolutely right. Maybe you should take a little time to learn the basics in net etiquette before influencing your gullible minions.
